Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

Pretty cool place. My wife and I stopped after a long road trip. The keylime ice cream was good, but not. My wife loved the strawberry shortcake. There are a lot of flavors. You might want to study the wall a little so you don't hold up the line. Service was fast and everyone was very polite to my wife and I. We will be back. Wish thet had some tables inside. I did like the picnic tables outside. Kind of funny sitting at the picnic table staring at the Planet Fitness next door.

Best ice cream ever! I went in for the first time last week with the kiddos. The young lady at the register Aria had the perfect recommendation of confetti brownie batter for my youngest So many great flavors to choose from! I had the Peanut butter parfait and it was splendid! Will be coming back

I absolutely love Handels ice cream. I got the blueberry cheesecake on a chocolate sprinkle cone and it was amazing. My husband got peach, and that was also delicious. The 4 stars in the review come more from the pricing and menu confusion I had, as I asked for a small and my husband got the same but I got three scoops of ice cream and he only received one. It was also $14 for two ice cream cones, which I know is because the ice cream is exceptional but that’s still incredibly expensive. The menu did not list that there was an extra $1.30 charge for chocolate cone. For reference, we can each get a double scoop at Braum’s for 2.50 each. Overall, ice cream was delicious 5/5 but it’s definitely pricey.

Love this place. Its very open and delicious flavors. They have so many options and outdoor area is very nice and spacious.

This was an awesome place to grab some yummy ice cream on a warm summer night. There are a lot of flavors and options on how you get it. One thing I really appreciated was that there are many teenagers working here and they are polite, smiling, and providing great customer service. Don’t see that in some places these days. Great place to come if you enjoy ice cream and relaxing place to hang out with friends or family.

This is a family favorite both for the parents who come to visit Fort Wayne and family members who live in Fort Wayne. Wow what a great selection of ice cream and shakes. Plus new flavors are being added regularly.

We’ve gone to Handel’s multiple times, for a date night or as a family, and it’s been a fabulous experience every single time! The employees are friendly and professional, the restaurant is clean, and the ice cream is delectable. Keep up the good work!!!

What? You say homemade ice cream what? My mom used to do that when I was a little girl so I had to stop. I got pistachio and salted caramel it was awesome the pistachio was the best I've ever had. Of course my mom used to make peach and strawberry so I never had pistachio when she made it but I will definitely go back to this place again. I'm on a very very limited income so it will have to be when I can afford to go only once a month but that once a month is going to be every month because it's that good!! I bet my husband who doesn't even eat ice cream would eat this thank you very much Handle
